Please work if you're not trying to make a run very tight. They don't really hold cat six very well as if you make it too tight they will pop out. A little larger than ethernet cables, but should fit around an electrical wire. These worked out perfectly. My stereo's RCA cables are fastened to the wall, wrap around the door, and lead right to the speakers. I was able to get my subwoofer in a great spot I wouldn't have been able to do safely without these fasteners (having the cords on the ground would eventually been tripped over — injury to people/damage to stereo risk).I've used about a dozen of these, and have TONS left over. I'm going to start using these all over my home now. I've a lot of wires/cables tucked out of the way for saftey/convenience, but now I can organize everything in a much more likable way.I feel better about the clips I've hammered into the wood in my house than what needed to be put through drywall. That's going to be the same for me, always, regarding nails & drywall. Delicate tapping to drive these in is what I recommend for drywall. These would not be difficult to remove from drywall if careless. The same is probably true of the wood, but not at the same level. The fasteners do not bolt something into a place forever immovable where the cables can be jostled a lot/stand up to a lot of friction (a child could probably pull these out if left unsupervised, and curious about the clips). Carefully deciding where you put these before using them is important. There's no design flaw about any of this; it's just important to be diligent with pre-planning.I'm extremely pleased with these. Although I've an enormous amount of these left over (the vast bulk), I would definitely buy these again if I had a situation in the future where I needed their function.Stick-On clips seem to be the answer to running a cable along a baseboard. But, these clips lose their grip over time, and the cable comes tumbling down. So, I decided that clips with a little nail would probably do a better job. When I was considering using these clips, I thought I would nail them to the top of the baseboard. But this is a lot of work. A much easier approach is to nail the clips to the drywall. I was needlessly concerned that the nails would easily pull out, but this has not been the case - the drywall holds the clips just fine. By the way, this package is a lifetime supply for a homeowner. There are different sizes and I appreciate that. I used the small ones for the flat ethernet wire that I ran from the comcast box, which is in the living room, to my computer which I have on a table in the dining room. I used the larger ones for the exterior electrical extension cord but I had to use one up and one down, side by side because there is a nail only on one side of these and that is not nearly enough to hold heavier wire. I used the ittybitty ones to run the wires for my Amazon Cloud cams and they work very well except I would have done better to buy one of those pea hammers because I smashed my fingernail a couple of times. I would buy this set again and I would highly recommend it to my family and friends (who are already "borrowing" some....I'm such a sucker!)I needed to wire some cat6 around my apartment without it just draping down from the walls/ceiling. I used these to wire them across the baseboard next to the floor, works great. I did find that the largest and smallest were too much in the extreme, but they probably have specific purposes. But for me, I just needed the second to largest for flat cat6 in case anyone is looking to do similar.I love them! They're truly perfect for running my security camera wires along the floorboard. They hold up well, no issue whatsoever, other than the fact these ones are pretty small. So holding onto them and trying to tap the nail in, well needless to say I may have dinged my finger/thumb a time or two :DReally though they are great value, quality and perfect for my needs! The description pretty much says it all. This comes with 4 packs - 1 of each size, 100 count, nail in clips. For my purposes I didn't think this through. They don't nail into moulding very well but that's just my experience, my walls probably aren't good for this. Regardless it works so far and the one cable I organized with this looks stellar already. I have enough for a second and likely third cable, but now my problem is I don't have a long enough Cat6 to do what I want. Would buy again probably but I think I'll opt for screws next time, they will be more secure. These worked good for a few cabling applications, including running an R6 coax behind my TV, some Christmas lights in my yard, and an orange extension cord. Minus one star because the nails decrease in size with the clip sizes, so the smaller the clip, the smaller the nail. This means the smallest clips have little tiny nails that barely bite into whatever surface you are hammering them into. Otherwise they work great. An excellent selection of clips, used whilst rewiring my workshop. I used most of the 4mm, 6mm and 8mm but have most of the 10mm left, as such cables are uncommon in a domestic environment.I used them on wood, no masonry, so can't comment on how easy they are to hammer into brickwork. Into wood, they were no trouble at all.A good way to get a selection of clips that you can then augment once you know what sizes you use most often.Individually packaged, they're as cheap as chips and arrived the next day. They're made of a decent quality plastic with enough flex to hold the cable firm, and not shatter when the ham-fisted (me) miss the nail and hit the clip. :/Just as described, and tough as hell - I hammered them in using a heavy mallet hammer and they didn't bend. Nailed them into limestone with great ease.Used for stapling a 30meter Cat 7 cable.Very handy for a multitude of things. You get lots of them in 4 different sizes and they're made out of a quite tough plastic. Highly recommend if you're looking to run an Ethernet cable somewhere.Really useful and a good price for the quantity and range of sizes. I checked at the local value homeware shop and they came in at 80p for 20, so this is really good value. Hammered in many with no bending or breakages.
