The box came with the seal broken which made me think it was likely resold. The rubber portion from some of them were already off the clip. But they have worked thus far and holds the hair well. Overall, it gets the job done.These definitely hold your hair when you're separating it to style it! Worth the money!The clips are great. Great purchase!Holds and stays where you put themI read the reviews with others talking about the rough edges and decided to give them a try anyway. The edges right where you hold the clip to open and close it are sharp, BUT, all you need to do is get a heavy grit nail file and sand down the sharp part.My hair is fine, but I have a ton of it and I needed something that wouldn't just slide out of my hair. These work GREAT!!! They stay put while I'm fixing my hair and don't slide down.Some of the other clips I've tried just kept sliding. These have actual grip without damaging my hair. And yes, they probably would have snagged my hair or pulled it if I hadn't done my little "fix" with a nail file. It's totally worth the few extra minutes to file the rough edges to have clips that hold.If you have fine hair like me, these are the clips to get!I have it 4 stars because the manufacturer should smooth out the rough edges in production, but it's easy enough do it yourself fix that is totally manageable.Price is good for what you get. Would purchase again and would recommend (as long as you do the filing with a nail file!).These are such a perfect size. Doesn't pull my hair and they are super easy to use. Unfortunately these clips are harder than anticipated and I worry about hair breakage, but also as someone with bad wrists it's a little hard to control and open/close the clip easily. Still works and does the job.My daughter has really long hair and uses these clips when blow drying her hair or just to clip back her hair when applying her make up.These are way better than I imagined they’d be. I’m a hairdresser and they are really sturdy/strong. I’d definitely buy moreProduct as described. Nice for sectioning off my fine hair. Doesn't pull or snag the hair. I'm happy with the product
